On November 24, Yu-Hua Elementary School celebrated Thanksgiving with warmth and love!

First, students and teachers wrote their sincerest thanks on the "Thankful Turkey Message Board." These messages symbolized the children's kindness and loving hearts. The first-grade students also dressed up in cute Native American costumes, making the event extra festive and fun.

Next, our foreign teacher, Lisa, used fluent English to explain the origin of Thanksgiving. Students showed their talents by playing the drums, flutes, and violins. They also gave heartfelt thanks to their parents, grandmothers, and even their pet dogs!

We were honored to have a special guest, Meijen volunteer, attend the event to encourage students to appreciate what they have and always be thankful. To conclude the celebration, the school staff prepared a special Thanksgiving lunch for everyone, bringing the loving day to a warm close.

On November 14, 2025, our school (Yu Hua Elementary School) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with our new sister school, St. Mary's College of Tagum, Inc. (SMCTI) in the Philippines, via video conference! This agreement will help us work together on many things, like learning, teaching, and cultural exchange.

Principal Jimmy Chen gave a warm welcome speech, looking forward to future student exchange programs and cultural sharing. Students and teachers from both schools watched the signing ceremony together.

This partnership opens new doors for our students to see the world and become global learners!
