To celebrate the Lantern Festival, Yuhua Elementary School held a fun riddle-guessing activity. The school was decorated with colorful riddles, and students were excited to solve them. This year, the activity included three languages: Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English. It was a great way for students to learn about different cultures while having fun.

The teachers worked together to design many creative games. Students used paper cups to spell English words, tried Taiwanese riddles, and guessed idioms from pictures. Those who answered correctly received stamps to exchange for small gifts. This event brought a lot of joy and wisdom to our campus. It was a wonderful way for our students to start the new semester with smiles and smart thinking!

元宵佳節期間，育華國小 (Yuhua Elementary School) 結合濃厚的年節氣氛，熱鬧展開猜燈謎活動。校園的教室與走廊間張貼了各式繽紛燈謎，處處迴盪著孩子們的歡笑聲。今年學校特別規劃了「國語、臺語、英語」三語齊發的挑戰，從語文理解到機智幽默，讓學生在思索謎語的過程中，感受不同語言的文化底蘊。

這場活動凝聚了全校教師團隊的跨科協作與巧思。師長們精心設計多元教具，包括利用小紙杯拼組英文單字、認讀臺語「臆謎猜」，以及看圖猜成語等關卡，題題精采。成功射中燈謎的同學還能累積獎卡兌換好禮，讓校園洋溢著智慧的火花。孩子們在燒腦益智的挑戰中收穫了滿滿的成就感，也為新學期的學習揭開了明亮且充滿活力的序幕。

A new semester has started at Yuhua Elementary School! We are using "Triple Safety" to help our students have a great start and make parents feel at ease.

• Campus Safety: We teach our students to be kind and respect each other. Our school is a warm and safe place for everyone to learn and grow.

• Food Safety: Our kitchen is very clean. We checked everything to make sure the food is healthy. We even had a small ceremony to wish for everyone’s health.

• Mental Peace: We help students get back to their school routine. By talking to them and playing games, we help them feel happy and ready for new challenges.

At Yuhua, we work hard to keep our students safe and healthy. Let’s enjoy a wonderful new school year together!

• 校安：透過友善校園宣導與生活化提醒，將安全觀念融入日常。在歡笑中培養學生的尊重與關懷，營造溫暖安心的校園氣氛。

• 食安：開學前完成廚房全面清潔消毒，對環境與流程層層把關。學校更舉行溫馨的祈福儀式守護師生健康，確保每一餐都吃得安心又放心。

• 心安：同步展開開學收心活動，協助孩子調整作息、穩定情緒。透過引導讓學生找回學習節奏，精神滿滿地迎接新學期的各項挑戰。

The Calligraphy Club at Yuhua Elementary School held a lovely year-end exhibition under the warm winter sun. Our younger students wrote traditional Spring Couplets by hand, filling the school with joy and good wishes. These beautiful red papers made YHES feel like the New Year is coming soon. Everyone felt very happy and warm when they saw the students' wonderful art.

During this semester, the students worked very hard. They started by learning how to hold the brush and sit correctly. Now, they can write beautiful Chinese characters with great skill. We want to say a big thank you to Teacher Yuan-ting for teaching the children with love. The students learned to focus and feel confident. The big smiles in the photos show how much they love calligraphy!

在寒冬的嬌陽映照下，育華國小書法社團舉辦了溫馨的期末成果展。中低年級的小朋友們親手書寫春聯，每一筆一畫都充滿了童真與祝福，紅紙黑字在陽光下顯得格外溫暖人心。校園裡因為這些漂亮的春聯，提前增添了濃濃的年味，讓路過的師生都能感受到過年的喜悅。

這一整學期的書法課，孩子們進步非常大。大家從最開始練習正確握筆、穩定坐姿，到現在能掌握運筆技巧並寫出端正的字體，成長清晰可見。特別感謝苑庭老師的費心指導，不僅教導技巧，更培養了孩子們的學習興趣。從照片中師生燦爛的笑容裡，我們看到了孩子們對書法的熱愛，更學會了專注與自信。

On December 24, 2025, students from Yuhua Elementary School brought a special surprise to the community! On Christmas Eve, they marched into the Wanggong Night Market with powerful war drums and sweet Christmas bells to share blessings with everyone.

This flash mob was a wonderful way for students to show what they have learned and practice being brave on stage. By sharing carols and music, they brought love and hope to the local shops and neighbors. A big thank you to our parents and teachers for supporting this meaningful event. It was a Christmas to remember!

114年12月24日平安夜，育華國小的孩子們踏著自信的步伐走入社區。他們將戰鼓的震撼節奏與聖誕鈴聲的悅耳音符交織在一起，在王功夜市及鄰近店家進行了一場驚喜的「聖誕快閃」活動。

這場演出不僅是孩子們才藝成果的展現，更是他們勇敢走出校園、服務社區的具體行動。透過報佳音，孩子們將愛與希望親手送給每位街親鄰里。感謝家長們的支持與教職員的悉心陪伴，讓這個聖誕前夕在鼓聲與歡笑中，留下了最動人的溫度。

Every Wednesday afternoon, you can hear powerful drum sounds on the playground! Our War Drum Club students at Yuhua Elementary School practice very hard together under the bright sun. They show great energy and teamwork with every beat. Even though the training is hard work, the students always stay focused. They use their drums to show the amazing spirit of YHES.

Learning the war drums is not just about music; it is also about building strength and willpower. Students practice many times to make sure their rhythm is perfect with their friends. This training helps children build strong bodies and learn how to work together as a team. We are so proud of their hard work. These loud and happy drum beats give our school a lot of positive energy!
